From October 19 to December 15 this year, the Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong and the Japan International Exchange Foundation will host the "Free Japanese Movie Screening Event - Delicious Screening Room" (hereinafter referred to as "Delicious Screening Room") and "Family Landscape" ——Selected Film Works of Yoshimitsu Morita" (hereinafter referred to as "Family Landscape"). The above programs are part of the Consulate's annual large-scale autumn event "Japanese Autumn Festival in Hong Kong - Rediscovery of Charm -", which aims to share different types of Japanese movies with Hong Kong citizens.

The "Delicious Screening Room" is co-organized by various organizations in Hong Kong. From October 19 to December 15, 4 movies with Japanese food culture as the theme will be screened, including "Love Drops", "Mentaiko Couple Movie Version", For "Zen on the Tip of the Tongue" and "Sky Restaurant", some screening events include lectures or workshops, such as Japanese sake workshops and Hakata culture lectures, to deepen the audience's impression and understanding of the film's themes. "Family Landscape" is co-organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong, the Japan International Exchange Foundation and the Film Culture Center (Hong Kong). The program will select and screen four films adapted from literary works under the theme of "Family" to review Morita Yoshimitsu's expressive cinematic world. The works include: "Family Game", "Kitchen", "Like Asura" and "Dark House". Some screenings will feature pre-screening tours or post-screening sharing.
